Ash, Salon Manager/Creative Director

MOB Hair Salon Manager, Ash Collins, is an award winning, internationally-acclaimed hair stylist with experience spanning over more than two decades. Ash discovered her passion for hairdressing as a “tea and tidy” in her mother’s busy salon, a passion that is still so evident today.

For Ash, hairdressing is about much more than hair, she believes it’s a psychological makeover, “The new hair is just an expression on how the client is feeling on the inside,” she explains. And she says, seeing her clients leave the salon feeling better than when they arrived, is most satisfying.

Ash’s clients love that she’s always honest about what is possible and takes the time to explain the best approach to achieving a desired look. There’s always plenty of laughter too!

Ash's strength lay in her mentoring programs and ensuring our entire team are at the forefront and are the best in the industry.

Ash’s Top Tip: Never use any heat on your hair without heat protection. Heat damage is irreversible and leaves a “scar” on the hair, which will cause breakage

Phoebe, Master Stylist and Colourist

Phoebe commenced her career in hairdressing nearly a decade ago, having completed her apprenticeship in a luxury salon in Brisbane.
Phoebe was inspired to begin a career in hairdressing when her mum told her she could see her as a fabulous hairdresser. Phoebe's mum was right, Mum's often are.

Phoebe loves the creativity of hairdressing but more importantly get's such joy from making people feel fabulous.
"Making people fall back in love with themselves is what makes a great day!"

Phoebe get's super excited with creating beautiful blondes.
"The lived in or the beachy bright blonde, I love it all and so do my clients"

"Pinpointing my greatest career achievement is too difficult as I have them everyday. Whenever a client is not happy with their hair and I make them love it, I tick this off as a massive achievement."

Our clients describe Phoebe as honest. Phoebe is real about what she can achieve and what products shouldn't be used.
"I wouldn't do anything to your hair I wouldn't do on my own"

Phoebe's Top Tip: Most breakage happens when your sleeping. Loosely tie your hair on top of your head so the heat from your body doesn't rub on your hair and cause unnecessary breakage.
